Spotdis Terms & Conditions: The Community Rulebook

Welcome to Spotdis. We are officially ending the era of gatekeeping and outdated cafe info. Whether you are here to find a spot, share intel, or manage your own venue, we have a few ground rules to keep the vibes immaculate. Choose your character below to see how you fit into the grid.

☕ 1. The Seekers (Common Users)

You just want the facts: Where is the good coffee, the fast Wi-Fi, and the best seating?

  • Zero Gatekeeping: You can use Spotdis to search, filter, and find the perfect cafe without ever needing to log in.
  • Powered by Real People: The intel you see is crowdsourced and verified by real people (our Spotters) visiting these locations.
  • Respect the Grid: You are free to soak up all the knowledge, but using bots to scrape or steal our community’s hard work for your own projects is a massive red flag and strictly prohibited.

🦸‍♂️ 2. The Spotters (Community Heroes)

You are the boots on the ground. You visit cafes, share accurate intel, and do the good deeds that save people from bad cafe experiences.

Building Your Legacy

  • Good Deeds = Vibes Points: By completing verification tasks (like testing Wi-Fi or counting plugs), you earn points called "Vibes". This is your ultimate community clout.
  • The "Dead Zone" Bonus: If a cafe has been ghosted and unverified for over 2 weeks, you get a 1.5x Vibe bonus for checking in and letting the community know it is still alive.

Your Rep (Trust Score & XP)

  • Leveling Up: Every helpful task you complete earns you Experience Points (XP). You start at Level 1 and can grind all the way to Level 99 (for now!). Once you hit Level 10, the system officially recognizes you as a trusted contributor.
  • The Trust Score: Your reputation starts at 100 out of a maximum 120 points. Submitting honest, accurate data keeps your score high. If you troll or submit fake info, your score tanks. Drop below 50, and your submissions are automatically rejected.

The Anti-Spam Limits

  • Pacing Yourself: To keep the data organic, you have a daily and weekly limit on how many Vibes you can earn, which increases as you level up.
  • The Reset: All your limits refresh daily at exactly 3:00 AM Jakarta Time (WIB). The weekly reset hits on Monday at 3:00 AM WIB.
  • One and Done: You can only submit one answer per task at the exact same cafe per day.

Keeping it Authentic (Anti-Cheat)

  • IRL Checks: We record your GPS location when you submit a task to prove you are actually chilling at the cafe.
  • Wi-Fi Integrity: If a task asks you to test the Wi-Fi speed, you must be connected to the cafe's actual network. If our system detects you are using your own mobile data, the task is instantly rejected.

🏪 3. The Spot Owners (Cafe Owners)

You run the show. You use the platform to gather real-time, profitable insights about your venue and show the community why they should visit.

Easy Task Management

  • Creating Missions: You can create custom tasks to gather specific information about your cafe from the community.
  • Funding with Vibes: You pre-fund these tasks using your Business Wallet.
  • The Budget System: When a task goes live, the budget is locked immediately so you never accidentally overspend.

Fair Play & Auto-Refunds

  • Risk-Free Budgeting: If you cancel a task or it doesn't get completed, the unspent budget is automatically refunded right back to your Business Wallet.
  • No Redundant Data: To avoid getting spammed, you can set a daily limit on how many Spotters can complete your task. Once that limit is reached, the task gracefully locks for the rest of the day.
